Hi, I’m Nugget Head. The psuedo psyche of Kevin. He’s an OK guy, sure, but quite scattered in the brain at times and that’s where I come in.

He’s always got a megabazillion projects going on at one time and never has time to get good at any one thing. Sure, he can draw and illustrate. He can build a web page or two. He knows how to build Flash animations. Heck, even got me walking now! Always something…if it’s not painting for some local charity, he’s illustrating ideas for logos, or he’s off drawing caricatures at some kid’s birthday party. When he sets the paint brush and pencil down, he picks up a Wacom pen and draws, paints, or animates on the ‘puter.

Kevin’s day job is an LMS Administrator and builds a lot of eLearning stuff, too. He spends the majority of his time doing nothing but this whole learning thing – managing, admin-ing, researching, building and all things inbetween. With Learning 2.0, eLearning, asynchronous and synchronous learning, blended-learning, immersive learning, scenario-based learning…AGGHH! With all the terms and names of things how people learn stuff, I told him to just call them all Learning Nuggets. I mean, that’s what they are, right? Just Nuggets of Learning? You learn something – it’s a nugget and you file it away in your noggin for next time. Then go off and find, learn or discover a new nugget. Pretty simple really.

Just when I think he’s going to take a break and work on my character, he’s off trying to learn himself more new stuff. Sheesh…just once I wish he’d give me the respect of focusing on me for more than a day and get me a new shirt to wear.
